Santosh was my little brother in my host-family, and we enjoyed joking around. He once put a bit too much cheenee [sugar] into my dood-baht [rice with milk and sugar], and it became a bit of a running joke at dinner—with me miming him literally shoveling scoops of sugar onto my plate.
Santosh and his sister Barsha are real sweethearts.
